My Pressed Flower Cake Designs

I press all my own flowers for my pressed flower cakes, they are all edible varieties grown at a local organic flower farm or grown myself. I can accommodate different wedding colours with them. I look forward to hearing from you about your pressed flower cake ideas.

I would love to hear from you about your wedding plans, it’s never too early to start the process of designing your cake and sampling your wedding cake flavours.

I’ve been a bit quiet recently on social media but behind the scenes have been busy talking to lots of couples about their 2024 wedding cakes and taking bookings for 2024/2025. I really enjoy the contrast of an on and off season when working in the wedding industry as the off season gives me a chance to recuperate, creatively and mentally and prepare for the season ahead like a little squirrel stashing nuts away except I’m stashing wedding cake sketches 😆

I’ve got some lovely designs coming up this year, lots include pressed flower cakes which I adore making so not only am I planning the cake designs but gathering seeds ready to sow in my poly tunnel to grow beautiful edible flowers which I will press for cakes.

Is anyone else out there enjoy taking it slow in the winter months?

I made this 3 tier white chocolate ganache finished cake for this spring wedding at Stanhill Court. I loved getting creative with the flowers on the cake and made matching bud vases to decorate the table too. The personalised stand was made by my husband @nick_fitter_carpentry and the cake was finished with strawberry macarons

Spring floral cake display for A&T

It really pays off to make an effort with the display of your wedding cake, this set up was in collaboration with @toasthq who supplied the stand and props, @fig_and_flower_ who supplied the flowers and be @ohhsorosiecalligraphy who made the cake sign. It makes such a lovely feature at a wedding and is by far better than putting the cake in the corner of the room, wouldn’t you agree?

Lush green foliage at a stylish East Sussex border with Kent barn venue

How lucky are C&W today with the sunshine for their wedding celebration?
This morning I delivered this small 3 tier semi naked cake with Vanilla and Raspberry at the bottom, chocolate and salted caramel in the middle and carrot cake on top. Covered with white chocolate ganache to a semi frosted finish. I finished the cake off with fresh foliage and roses provided by Jo. I finished it off with a customer topper and one of my cake stands made by my lovely husband and father in law. The Cherry Barn is a stunner at any point in the year but it certainly looks gorgeous on a spring Saturday like today.

Laura and Nitish had a second amazing Hindu celebr

Laura and Nitish had a second amazing Hindu celebration of their wedding at The Langham in London. Lydia @ella_parisa_ planned and executed this incredible day and the cake sat centre stage on the dance floor boasting bright colours to reflect the joyous Hindu celebration. I covered this cake in fondant icing and decorated it with sugar flowers to match those being used in the floral arrangements and Laura’s choices. I included gold leaves for opulence and gold hand piped vines on the top tier. I also used a mehndi stencil in gold on the bottom for extra detailing.
