Sophie & Rory

Sophie & Rory married at their family home in Petworth, East Sussex. Jacaranda the caterers served the wedding cake as dessert for all the guests.

They had a 4 tier pressed flower design with a specific colour palette of terracotta, white, orange, blush pinks and greens.

A romantic floral wedding cake this week at The Ravenswood. Julia had a vision for her cake, this was her comment on the very first enquiry she sent “I have a fairtytale and romantic type theme wedding, with a woodsy location. I want use of pinks and gold on a three tier white cake with use of real flowers” the cake ended up being 4 tiers but otherwise I think we hit the brief! Thank you to Clare for the perfect flowers for me to arrange on the cake.

Ashdown Park Hotel has the most beautiful chapel and this cake had an intricate bespoke stencil on the top tier of the arches containing the stained glass windows behind where the cake is displayed. I used a Perspex separator between the tiers for the stained glass colours to show through and with a rubbed bottom tier and fresh flowers in rich autumn tones this cake was a beauty. Fondant iced and totally gluten free.

Sam & Ben’s wedding was a sophisticated, crisp and elegant. On a beautiful English summers day at Firle Place, I made them this fondant iced cake with acrylic spacer from @prop.options and made made sugar flowers to match those by @fig_and_flower_

Becky & Dan had an idea of the vibe they wanted fo

Becky & Dan had an idea of the vibe they wanted for their cake, there were certain design elements that they liked. I helped them bring it all together with this 3 tier white chocolate design. With a marbled bottom tier, sugar roses and rice paper sails to give it a modern, light feel. They had my styling package which included me totally changing the table at Blackstock and displaying the cake on an acrylic plinth with a white table top.
