Simon & Nicole married at Ashdown Country Club and Hotel near Forest Row. They had a red, gold and cream colour theme and together we designed this cake to match. There was a personalised initials tier with a background of gold edible sequins and hand painted gold damask design on the base. The cake was then finished with a spray of red and cream sugar flowers and foliage.

Liquid Mercury was the brief for this cake I made last March. Texture, drama and metallics, coupled with wafer paper feathers for a lightness. This creative, conceptual and art focused wedding was such a fun brief.
