Lavender Haze

This cake was created for part of a styled shoot with Loading Events and Katie Richards Photography at The George in Rye.

The theme of the shoot was delicate, elegant and soft pastel lavender colours. I mirrored the ribbed texture of the plates on the bottom tier of the wedding cake. The middle tier had some abstract florals which added a more informal feel to the cake and the top tier was separated with a clear acrylic separator from Prop Options which adds a lightness. I finished it with a sugar rose and a white open rose with gold leaves which mimic the wallpaper in the ballroom at the George.
