Laura & Jacob

Laura & Jacob married at Michelham Priory, East Sussex on a gorgeous summers day. This time I was lucky enough to be a guest at the wedding and taste the cake in the evening too!

Their colour theme was sage green and cream with rustic elements to fit in with the barn wedding. I designed this cake for them to match their wedding elements and finished it with sugar flowers to match those provided by Jo Frost Flowers. I used hessian ribbon around the top and bottom tier to tie in the rustic element and for me this cake demonstrates how an iced cake can work really well in a barn themed rustic wedding and still look elegant.
