I was invited by The Wedding Dolls to be involved in a styled shoot to launch the new Botanical lined orangerie tent at Goodnestone Park in Kent. I made this 3 tier cake with bright sugar flowers to match those provided by Jo at Moody Blooms. I sat the cake on a stand from Prop Options, filled with Jo’s flowers which really complimented the design.

When you book me to make your wedding cake I try to make the experience as relaxed a an enjoyable as possible. You are there to be the passenger enjoying the view and coming up with suggestions of where we might go. You can put your trust in me to turn in the right direction and push your suggestions into places that will work, I do the stressful part and deliver the cake on the day looking beautiful.

This was a relatively hot day in August, I arrived to set up the wedding cake around lunch time and the marquee it was going in had been closed all day and was just too hot. So I made the decision to store the cake inside the house where it was cool and I came back 3 hours later just as the guests were arriving to set it up. I’m not sure Carolina knew this, but it didn’t matter because she had 100% faith in me that it would be there and ready when she needed it in perfect condition.

I made this 3 tier white chocolate ganache finished cake for this spring wedding at Stanhill Court. I loved getting creative with the flowers on the cake and made matching bud vases to decorate the table too. The personalised stand was made by my husband @nick_fitter_carpentry and the cake was finished with strawberry macarons

The Enchanting Cake Table B&T asked me to create

The Enchanting Cake Table

B&T asked me to create them a cake table spread for their intimate wedding which started at Canterbury Cathedral and then the celebrations continued at The George in Rye. Incredible flowers adorned the stunning ballroom and the couple had a string quartet playing in the background. Their vision came to life and I was proud to be a part of it by making and styling this table for them with 3 small cakes, cupcakes, meringues and macarons. The satisfaction when I had completed this set up was off the charts.

I’m missing this, my favourite part of my job is the final touches to a wedding cake. This was me working on Lucy & Tim’s cake in October. I had my husband with me and he took this when I wasn’t looking- brownie points for getting me content 🤭
