Christine & Paul

Christine and Paul held their wedding at the beautiful Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex. They wanted an unusual modern design which incorporated midnight blue and a marble effect. The bottom tier was midnight blue marble, the middle tier a striking double barrel midnight blue and the top tier white with sugar flowers sandwiched in between.

Liquid Mercury was the brief for this cake I made last March. Texture, drama and metallics, coupled with wafer paper feathers for a lightness. This creative, conceptual and art focused wedding was such a fun brief.
