Carolina & Carl had an incredibly heart warming family focussed wedding celebration at a private family residence in Mayfield near Tunbridge Wells, East Sussex.

I made them a 3 tier white chocolate ganache finished cake with crisp edges, decorated with seasonal fresh flowers which I collected from The Sussex Cutting Garden. If you ask me to provide the fresh flowers for you then I often use flowers from the lovely ladies at The Sussex Cutting Garden or frown at my own cutting garden or poly tunnel at my house.

I also made a small dairy free cake for the bride to enjoy and displayed it alongside the main cake.

It was an incredibly hot day and the wedding celebrations were being held in a marquee so I came and set the cake up right before the guests entered, this is a call that I make on the day and always try to be as flexible as I can with delivery.

They also hired my vintage silver cake stand which is available if you like that look.
