Autumn Styled Shoot

I designed and created this cake design for an Autumn themed styled photoshoot at Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex. The theme was rich jewel tones with opulent gold and it fitted in perfectly on a crisp Autumn day.

I used a striking damask gold pattern on the base tier, the middle two tiers were ivory with rich coloured sugar flowers and leaves and the top tier was claret with gold hand piped leaves and vines.

I finished off the sugar flower arrangement with some pretty pheasant feathers for a country Autumn feel.
