Claire & Terry

Claire and Terry had their winter wedding at The Pilgrims Rest. They had beautiful neutral tones and a floral theme which fitted in seamlessly with the cosy venue.

They had an intimate wedding but still wanted a cake to be a centre piece so I used a dummy tier on the bottom to create height but the cake was able to serve 45 guests. Claire had a champagne coloured dress so the cake was iced in a champagne colour with a pleated tier for texture and a lace stencil on the bottom tier. I finished the cake off with a cascade of handmade sugar flowers to match those created by Mrs Neech’s Flowers.

Served 45 with a dummy bottom tier but could serve 100-120 if all tiers were cake
