I created this 3 tier cake for the judging of the wedding industry awards final in December 2017 after I won the London and South East category.
I was given a mood board with blush pink, rose gold, peach and tan colours and created this 3 tier cake to match with handmade sugar flowers adorning the middle tier. I used a stencil to create the leaf pattern on the bottom tier and painted the leaves gold, I then used peach and pink edible paint to make a textured top tier to create some interest. I chose the tan colour for the background of the middle tier to make the sugar flowers really stand out against the darker colour.
